Hello!
I’m Amy, the face behind Alphamor Creative.
Based in Warwickshire, but happy to travel nationwide, I’ve been professionally photographing now for nearly 5 years and my main loves are horse and pet shoots, with the occasional family session thrown in here and there!
You may have known me previously as ‘Amy Corcoran Photography’, but my re-brand is part of a passion project of mine – The Anam Cara Session – and I am so looking forward to sharing these special photo shoots with you.
The heart of Alphamor Creative
I lost my heart horse, Roma, in September 2023 and from that loss Alphamor Creative was born. Roma was an ex-racehorse, Alphamor was her registered name, and I wanted my business to pay homage to her in some way. She is also the inspiration for the Anam Cara Session (horse/pet end of life photo shoots), you can find more information about that on the Anam Cara page.
Now, more than ever, I understand the importance of capturing those special, timeless memories with our beloved pets and it brings me such joy to be able to call this a job where I can do just that.
More than just a photographer
Aside from photography, I’m also a student psychotherapist and hoping to qualify in Summer 2025. I’m extremely passionate about people’s mental wellbeing and especially the need for more support around pet loss/grief.
If I’m not photographing or studying, you can probably find me with my nose buried in fantasy and romance books or out exploring with my whippet, Remy.
